V Divači je bilo v petek zvečer v zraku nekaj posebnega … Polna luna, super amient letnega kina Muzeja slovenskih filmskih igralcev, tisti retro zvok predvajanja starih filmskih kolutov, zvezdno nebo in prijetna družba. Ob ogledu serije starih kratkih filmov o Krasu nam smo se navduševali nad posnetki iz časov, za katere se zdi, da so se tudi v resnici odvijali v črno-belem. Ob koncu smo se spet sprehodili skozi muzejsko trgovinico in psssssst – na zalogi je le še nekaj kitajskih Kekcev, zato hitro pot pod noge!

There was something in the air on Friday in Divača … Full moon, great atmosphere at the open air cinema of the Museum of Slovenian film actors, that special sound of old movie film rolls running, stars in the sky and nice company. We were really impressed by the selection of short movies about Slovenian Karst region from the good old times that seem to have been happening in back-and-white mode only. At the end we also walked through the museum shop again and I saw that they still have a couple of Kekec posters left :)

tole je najnovejša pridobitev v stanovanju. kitajski kekec, how cool is that :) če pohitite, ga ujamete tudi vi – v tem super finem muzeju.

Kekec is the ultimate slovenian movie character of our youth. this is a reprint of a poster from the chinese broadcasting in ’56.  and it’s now a brand new addition to my living room. if you hurry you just might still get it here.

v zadnjih dnevih (ali bi lahko bili že kar tedni?) sem se pogosto potikala po okolici savskih blokov, ki na filmu zgledajo še bolj retro in sikstis/seventis! :) no, cilj mojih potepanj je bil tale arhitekturni biro, predvsem pa ponovno natečajno garanje do jutranjih ur. ni pa to edini razlog za mojo odsotnost na blogu – dogajalo se je tudi mnogo drugih stvari! upam, da vam v kratkem lahko pokažem katero izmed njih.

in the past few days (or was it weeks?) i spent a lot of time walking through one of the post war residential neighbourhoods in ljubljana. and i must say the tall appartment blocks look even more retro and sixties/seventies on camera film! the main destination on my walks was actually this architectual office, where i worked on another architectual competiton. but this isn’t the only reason why i’ve been away for so long! i hope i can show you more about that soon.
